Sitting in the middle of the Green River is this 110-foot-long dam. Built in 1811, it is one of the few remaining crib dams in the state and a designated landmark with the National Register of Historic Places. The waters here are deep enough for swimming, although some visitors jump off the ledge of rocks near the edge of the river.
