While the 5-foot drop of the waterfall of Kenfield Brook may not look that impressive, the beautiful, nearly perfect oval-shaped pool at the base more than makes up for the size of the fall.

Terrill Gorge Details
While the 5-foot drop of the waterfall of Kenfield Brook may not look that impressive, the beautiful, nearly perfect oval-shaped pool at the base more than makes up for the size of the fall. The waters are anywhere from 10 to 15-feet deep, so you could easily go jumping off the nearby rocks. To reach this swimming hole, you will need to walk 1/2 mile through a thick brush of the forest. There is no clear trail (which can make it difficult for inexperienced hikers or families), but once you see the falls, you will feel like you stumbled upon something truly magical.
