Vermonts very own canyon has a beautiful spot where you can go swimming after a day of hiking or exploring. Head to the covered Quechee Covered Bridge next to the historic village, and you will find a deep pool of blue water perfect for swimming. The river is surrounded by towering rocks, and you will often find thrill-seekers jumping off them into the water. However, that is nothing compared to the adrenaline junkies that dive into the river from the covered bridge. For the rest of us, there is a small rope that you can jump off that is a little less frightening.
