Bristol Falls Details

It may not be the largest waterfall in Vermont, but this flowing 14-foot drop from the New Haven River is one of the best places to go swimming. That is because it has a deep pool that is perfect for swimming, rope swinging, or even cliff jumping off the nearby 30-foot rocks. And if the current isn't too strong, you can also slide down the falls like a slide. This swimming hole is located right off of Lincoln Road, so it is easily accessible. However, there is a little bit of scrambling required to reach the bottom, so bring durable shoes along with your swimsuit.
