Although Stowe may be known for its winter recreations (the Stowe Mountain Resort is considered to be the ski capital of the east), it also has plenty to offer cyclists. Start your journey on the northern part of the slope and make your way downhill through the open pastures and wooded forests. Once you cross under Luce Hill Road and head into Stowe Village, you will notice that the trail starts to pick up. The abundance of restaurants, shops, and hotels can make this section of the trail quite crowded.
