Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail

There is a little bit of something for everyone on this pleasant 26.4-mile ride. The diverse landscapes include charming villages, vast farmlands, marshy wetlands, and sprawling wooded forests that sit in between the towns of St. Albans and Richford. Although you will ride through some commercial areas, the majority of the route is relatively quiet and laid back. Acres of cornfields and dairy farms offer a glimpse into rural, small-town America, while the historic railroad memorabilia and defunct power mills are a reminder of this region's once-flourishing history.
