Robert Frost Interpretive Trail Details

It is easy to see why this area was the inspiration for many romantic poems by Robert Frost. He lived in a nearby cottage in the Green Mountains and frequently wandered this area. This 1-mile hike is named in his honor and supposedly retraces the steps of one of his favorite walks. Besides seeing Beaver Pond and the Middlebury River, you will also get to see several signposts along the way inscribed with Frosts most iconic lines.
