Branbury State Park Details

This is one of the more popular parks situated on the shores of Lake Dunmore. Located at the base of Mount Moosalamoo, this park has stunning views of the tree-covered peak as well as the Green Mountain National Forest. Despite only being 69-acres wide, there is plenty of fun activities for all types of outdoor enthusiasts. The park has a 1,000-foot sandy beach on the eastern side of the lake, where you can go swimming, sunbathing, or picnicking. Canoes, kayaks, and rowboats are also available for rent. For more adventurous visitors, there are hiking trails that lead through the forest, taking you by waterfalls and caves to sweeping scenic vistas overlooking the water.
