North Beach

A quiet alternative to the bustling shores of Hampton Beach, this little slice of coastline is best visited during low tide. As the ocean retreats, it reveals a stunning stretch of white sand where you can lay out. During high tide, the water can butt right up against the rocks, although you will still see windsurfers and body surfers tackling the giant waves offshore. Early birds should get down to the shores for sunrise, as the vibrant orange and yellows illuminate the morning skies. Afterward, you can hit up one of the cafes or breakfast joints across the street while you wait for the tide to roll out.
