Rochester's 1.7-mile hiking trail is a haven for many types of birds that live in the area. As you loop around the Cocheco River through fields of wildflowers and marshy lagoons, you will see abundant wildlife rustling in between the foliage. Blue heron and Pied Bill Grebe are very common in this area, although if you are lucky, you might also spot beavers and snapping turtles.
