Falling Waters Details

This is an excellent hiking trail with numerous places where you can cool off along the babbling Dry Brook. Winding across Haystack Mountain, this 3.2-mile hike follows the stream and takes you across not one, not two, but three different waterfalls. The most impressive is the last waterfall, Cloudland Falls. It has an 80-foot drop that cascades down tiers of rocky cliffs. The pool at the bottom is small and not deep enough for swimming, although you can take off your shoes and enjoy the soothing waters after finishing your hike.
