Emerald Pool Details
At one point, this secret swimming hole was a secluded clothing-optional oasis in the middle of the White Mountains National Forest. However, word broke out about its scenic location, and soon, hikers and travelers from all over the country were visiting just to enjoy a dip in the beautiful turquoise waters (now in swimsuits, of course). The pool is located right off the well-traveled Baldface Circle Trail, approximately 1/2 of a mile from the start of the trailhead. On a busy day, you probably will not be able to snag a spot, as it is only large enough to fit about 4 or 5 people. But if you come early, you can enjoy the pristine blue waters of this natural spring.
