Winnipesaukee River Trail Details
There is a lot to see along this short but scenic 5-mile bike route. It connects the towns of Tilton, Northfield, and Franklin and runs along the Winnipesauke River. The most notable feature of the river is a bizarre upside-down covered bridge that was built in the late 1800s. During the 1900s, this area had many different paper mills, and you can still see the ruins of the last remaining one resting near the banks of the river.
