Rivers, ponds, agricultural fields, lakes, and mountains paint the scenery along the way. The trail is broken down into two segments, with the 57-mile journey from Lebanon to Boscawen being the longest. There is a 14-mile gap between Manchester and Derry, although this will eventually be paved and joined to the rest of the route.
