Cotton Valley Rail Trail Details

When you cycle down this 12-mile trail, you will have the opportunity to learn about New Hampshires historic railroad history. Near the start of the trail in Wakefield, you will find the Old Boston and Maine Railroad Turntable before continuing your ride through the woods along the paved-over rail track. Over the next few miles, you will cycle past parks, beaches, and even a nature preserve, so there are plenty of places where you can stop to enjoy a quick break. The end of the trail is in the resort town of Wolfeboro, which sits on the edge of the beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee.
