Winding through the town of Peterborough, this 5.5-mile cycling path is an even mix of farm and city. Heading south from W. Ridge Drive, you will navigate through the woods on leveled gravel. This is the quietest and most rugged part of the trail. Once you hit Peterborough, you will be cycling on the main street, so be careful sharing the road with cars. There is a lot to see on the main street, including the oldest tax-supported public library, which was built in 1833. You will also travel by restaurants, shops, and a restored train depot.
