The Pemi Loop Details
Attracting hikers from all around the world, this iconic 31-mile hike is a reason on its own to visit New Hampshire. It traverses through the White Mountains while climbing up eight of its largest peaks in a span of two or three days Flume, Liberty, Lincoln, Lafayette, Garfield, South Twin, Bond, and Bondcliff. This journey is not for the faint of heart, as the sharp elevation changes and rugged trails prove difficult for even the most experienced of hikers. In fact, Backpacker Magazine described this trail as the second-hardest hike in the country. However, it is definitely a hike to add to your bucket list if you are looking for an exhilarating (and exhausting) journey across one of New Englands most scenic regions.
