Mount Moosilauke Details

New Hampshires 10th highest summit is a great excursion in any season. In the spring and summer, you can easily make your way to the summit via the George Brook Trail, although the entire 7.1-mile trek can also be done in winter with snowshoes. The first part of the trail is relatively flat. Once you reach 3,200-feet in elevation, the path will become steeper as it winds its way up to the 4,802-foot summit. At the top, you will be able to see over the Green Mountains of Vermont and even a few ridges of the Adirondack Mountains in New York. While the George Brook Trail is the fastest, more experienced hikers can also choose to reach the peak via the Glencliff, Benton, or Beaver Brook trails.
