This trek is ideal for a spring or summer day, as you will get the chance to cool off in the flowing streams and pools of the Kinsman falls along the way. Traveling along the Cascade Brook, you will be on this shady trail for 1.3-miles each way. The first part of the trail is paved (although it switches to a more rugged path with hills and exposed roots for the second half), yet it is an overall relatively easy hike for beginners or families. This trek can be found in the Franconia Notch State Park, which is located right off the I-93.
