For a mix of mountain ranges, rolling countryside, and historic century-old towns, take this 120-mile journey through the heart of the Connecticut River Valley. Starting in Fairview, you will travel south through Woodstock into the White Mountain National Forest. You can choose to explore the area by hiking or cycling, or you can continue over to the towns of Warren and Haverhill. Some of the biggest highlights along the way are the covered bridges over the Connecticut River. The ones in Woodsville, Swiftwater, and Bath are three of the longest and oldest bridges in the state.
