It is hard to beat the dramatic views of the sparkling Echo Lake and sprawling Sacro River Valley from this picturesque state park. The vivid blues of the water and emerald greens of the forest are an incredible sight to see in spring and summer, which is why this park is very popular amongst locals and tourists. One of the best views over the park is from Cathedral Ledge. You can either drive or hike to the 1,159-foot summit. This ledge is also popular for rock climbing in warmer months and ice climbing in the winter. If hiking is not on your itinerary, you can always spend the day swimming, fishing, or canoeing by the lake.
