A 3.5-mile hike through the Chattahoochee National Forest leads you to one of Georgias most spectacular waterfalls. It might not be very tall, but its wide flowing stream and lush forest surroundings are a pleasant escape for those looking to reconnect with nature. In late summer, the pool at the bottom of the falls is also perfect for swimming (so don't forget your swimsuit). Because of the long back and forth journey, many people decide to spend the night by the falls. There are several campsites and firepits where you can pitch a tent to enjoy the falls long after the crowds of hikers leave for the day.
