This small beach at the northern tip of St. Simons East Beach is all about wildlife. You will find many different types of birds like cormorants, ring-billed gulls, and piping plovers hopping along the shore. It is also a great place to fish for red drum and bonnethead sharks, and you will often see anglers out on the fishing pier in the early morning and late afternoon. The waves can be quite rough, so it is not the best place if you want to swim. However, it is a scenic area where you can experience the more rugged and rural side of St. Simon.
