When it comes to outdoor adventure, there is no place quite like this picturesque beach in the Golden Isles. Swimming, kitesurfing, and windsurfing are all popular activities, although it is also fun to scour the shores for sand dollars and seashells. The sand is hard-packed, which also makes it a great place for cyclists. You will also find the St. Simons Coast Guard Station nearby. Inside the station is the World War II Home Front Museum and the Coastal Encounters Nature Center, both of which are worth visiting after your day on the beach.
