A short .25-mile walking trail leads you directly to the lower part of the waterfall. You can choose to stop here to go swimming, although the upper waterfall (which is arguably much more scenic) is only a few yards away. Here, you will find the upper falls plummeting down a massive rocky outcropping and into a turquoise blue pool at its base.
