Take a short drive along this 7-mile road, and you will be pleasantly surprised at how many birds there will be flying around. It does not matter which season you visit, there is always something interesting to find along this trail. Worm-eating warblers and whip-poor-will can be spotted in the summer, while red-breasted nuthatches can be found during the breeding season. Winter is a little less busy, although red crossbills are known to be seen flying from tree to tree.
