A short drive from downtown Atlanta takes you to the great outdoors with over 30 miles of cycling paths to explore. Located in the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area, this trail winds along granite mountains, rolling hills, and even across a few historic sites. In total, there are 21 different fascinating attractions along the way. Stop by Vaughters Farm to see the last working dairy farm in DeKalb County, or visit the Historic District of Klondike for its street of magnificent antebellum homes. In the north, you can also take a break to wander the historic town center of Lithonia to see cottages, houses, and bungalows made entirely from granite sourced in the nearby mountains.
