Beaver Meadows Visitor Center Details

Unlike the "parkitecture" style common in many U.S. National Parks buildings, the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center features a post-modernist style thanks to a design by Thomas Casey, an apprentice to famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The building is a National Historic Landmark; it's open daily, year-round, and features a 20-minute film on the park, a relief map, and bookstore. You also can get backcountry permits next door.
