This tomb in the Oak Ridge Cemetery is the final resting place for Abraham Lincoln. The exterior structure of this massive building is impressive, with its 117-foot-tall granite obelisk and bronze sculptures towering atop the burial site. However, the interior crypt is also quite noteworthy, with marble rotunda and stained-glass windows encircling his tomb. Buried with him in the mausoleum is his wife, Mary, and their three sons, Edward, William, and Thomas. The tomb is open to the public although reservations must be made to visit the interior of the site.
