Box Canyon Waterfall & Park Details

This waterfall plunges down 85-feet in a strong flurry that echoes violently against the surrounding quartzite canyons. Gushing out thousands of gallons of water per second, it is a stunning sight to admire from above or on the ground. There are three main trails that take you to the waterfall inside the park. The Falls trail is a leisurely 500-foot walk to the base of the falls. There is also the half-mile High Bridge Trail that overlooks the top of the waterfall. It is short but very steep and relatively challenging for those who are not used to hiking. After visiting the falls, you can also take the Native Plant Loop that meanders around the park and through the native foliage.
