This nature center near Colorado Springs contains five different ecosystems (creek, cottonwood/willow woodlands, meadow, marsh, and pond) that provide a safe habitat for over 250 different species of birds. Many of them are migratory species, although native critters like black-capped chickadees and house finches can be spotted year-round. There is a visitor center that leads group tours and interpretive programs for guests who wish to learn more about the wetland habitats of the park. You are also more than welcomed to go fishing for bluegill, rainbow trout, and channel catfish in the nearby Willow Springs Pond.
