Ruedi Reservoir Details
If you are looking for a relaxing outdoor destination where you can go swimming, fishing, and camping, then look no further than this hidden gem near Basalt and Aspen. This 997-acre lake is right in the middle of the White River National Forest which means there are plenty of natural wonders to discover during your visit. The waters are fed from the Fryingpan River and are teeming with rainbow trout and Kokanee salmon (although you probably will not see any, while you are swimming, near the shore). It is worth camping here for a couple of days so you can enjoy all the activities the lake has to offer.
