It travels east to west from Interstate 25 to Standley Lake boasting wide, expansive views of the surrounding area and neighborhoods. The entire trail is paved with just a few hills and curves to tackle. Despite being close to the city, there is a surprising number of wild creatures that you might encounter including hawks, pelicans, and prairie dogs. While you can not go swimming in the lake, you can enjoy a colorful sunset while you watch the boats pass by.
