Winding around the high-elevation slopes of the Rocky Mountains is this fun and exciting 11.6-mile loop. Enjoy the lush surroundings of pine and aspen forests and sweeping views of the Sawatch and Mosquito Mountains and you cruise through the town and outskirts of the small mining town Leadville. There is a lot of history in this area, which adds an interesting element to the already spectacular landscape. During the ride, you will also cycle past several mining relics like buildings and equipment which has been set up on display as part of an outdoor museum.
