Chavez and Beaver Brook Trail

If you are looking for a fun but challenging hike in the Denver area, then this trail in Genesee Park might be right up your alley. The terrain is full of unique obstacles that will keep you on your toes the entire time. Be prepared to trek over fallen trees, through babbling creeks, and up rocky boulders in order to complete this 5-mile loop. The majority of the trail is shaded to keep you cool even in the dead of summer. But if you still get too hot, you can always jump into the creek for a refreshing swim before making your way back.
