This route was practically made for outdoor adventure. Despite only being 63-miles long, this byway encompasses four different ecological zones, which means there is an incredibly diverse variety of scenery at your disposal. Acres of evergreen forests, hundreds of crystal blue lakes, and over 400 miles of hiking trails are all within reach. And of course, you can not miss the 6,000 foot high Lands End Overlook, which is the largest flat-topped mountain in the world. Although the non-stop drive should only take you two hours tops, it is worth spending at least a day exploring all the fascinating sights that lie off the road.
