Near the White River National Forest, this park offers incredible fishing year-round in its streams and lakes. Seven miles of hiking trails lie adjacent to national forest. On the lake, visitors can electric-motor boat, kayak, and canoe, but swimming is not permitted. You can also stay overnight in a yurt, cabin or primitive campground. There are mountainous areas to explore in the winter by ski or snowshoe.
