Dotted around the layered canyons and tree-lined forests are these picturesque swimming pools. The water is typically supplied by the East Clear Creek, although rainstorms will also fill up the holes with swimmable waters. The pools are roughly 1-mile from the entrance of the Kinder Cross Trail No. 19, which makes for a pleasant first stop if you’re doing the entire 3-mile trek. Despite their rocky surroundings, these pools are not deep enough for diving or cliff jumping. However, they do make for a leisurely swim, especially if you are in dire need of cooling off from the hot Arizona Sun.
