Mooney Falls Details

Getting to this picturesque swimming spot is no easy feat as it sits at the base of a very long and very steep canyon. Not only will you need to descend slick and slippery rocks (durable footwear is an absolute must), but you will be clinging to ladder chains and ropes while you do it. If you do manage to make the heart-stopping journey to the bottom, you will be rewarded by the magnificent roar of this almost 200-foot waterfall. This is the tallest waterfall on the entire Havasupai Reservation, and it is a breathtaking sight to see as it plunges into the milky pool at the bottom.
