You had been hard-pressed to find a more beautiful place to swim than here. Located in the Grand Canyon, this waterfall plunges over 100-feet down into tiered pools of water. The contrast of the milky blue water (which comes from a high concentration of calcium carbonate) is starkly contrasted against the vibrant red rocks of the canyon walls, painting a colorful backdrop for your swim. Not only can you wade in the shallow pools, but you can also swim behind the waterfall itself. There, you will find a small cave where you can hang out. Just remember to be extra careful when swimming beneath the falls the crashing waves can be rough for inexperienced swimmers.
