For almost 100 years, this 45-acre reservoir has been a prime destination for swimmers, kayakers, and boaters. It is surrounded by massive boulders and rocky outcroppings, which act as jumping-off points for adventurous cliff divers. There is also a small sand beach where you can lay out a beach towel to rest or sunbathe. Although the water is damned, it is still connected to Clear Creek and Little Colorado River, which means you will find many different types of fish, including rainbow trout, largemouth bass, and even sunfish. For this reason, you will also find plenty of fisherman casting lines from the shore.
