Tse' nikani - Flat Mesa Rock Scenic Byway

Escape the crowds and enjoy this peaceful 48-mile ride along the valley floor of the Chinle Wash. It connects the community of Mexican Water to Many Farms and travels mostly through barren rocky outcroppings and red rock landscapes typical in this part of Arizona. Do not expect any amenities or modern facilities along the way there is nothing but vast canyons and cliffs stretching for what seems like an eternity. However, you can always stock up on water and gas in either community before starting your trip. You can also pick up a souvenir or piece of local art crafted by the Navajo tribes while you are there.
