This road treks up more than 6,000 feet from the Sonoran Desert to the Santa Catalina Mountains, with plenty of scenic stops and picturesque views along the way. In total, it is 24 miles long and should take just a few hours of your day. The first part of the trail features winding hairpin curves surrounding by fields of brittlebush hand Saguaro cacti until you reach the entrance to the Molino Canyon. You can stop here to soak in the valley views or to hike to a small waterfall. Other famous sights include Rose Canyon Lake, the San Pedro Vista, and Mount Lemmon SkyCenter.
