Old Route 66 - Oatman Road Details

The Wild West is alive and well along this 42-mile section of the legendary Route 66. Starting in Kingman, you will head straight into the desert via a two-lane road until you reach the ghost town of Oatman. Oatman was originally a prosperous mining town at the turn of the 20th century, although it was abandoned shortly after the mines shut down. It now attracts road trippers and tourists who come to take pictures with the preserved Western-style buildings and storefronts.
