Birthing Cave Details
As one of the more secluded trails in Sedona, this 2-mile trek is a fun but challenging hike that leads you to a very spiritual landmark. It starts on the path to Long Canyon before veering left at a fork towards the red rocky cliffs up a steep and narrow trail. This climb is much more difficult than the first part of the trail and requires a little bit of navigating to avoid the loose and slippery rocks. At the end of the trail is a cave, where you can peer out over the vast Sonoran Desert landscape. There is even a tiny indent or "mini-cave" carved into the side. You can climb inside and pose for a photo surrounded by swirls or crimson red canyon walls.
