Wind Cave Trail Details

As one of the most popular hikes along Pass Mountain, this trail has traditional Sonoran Desert landscapes and drool-worthy vista views sought after by hikers in this area. The first part of this 2.9-mile trail starts off steep with a climb up several flights of stone stairs. It gradually gets rockier as it zig-zags across the side of the mountain through Saguaro cacti and Octotillo succulents. At the end of the hike is a small cave, although it is realistically more like a carved resting place. It is shaded from the sun and is the perfect place to rest or have a sip of water before heading back down the trail.
