If there is one thing that this trail is known for, it is the jaw-dropping scenery. Although it is just a 15-minute drive from Sedona, it feels like an entirely different planet full of layered canyons, towering spires, and irregular cliffs. It is also believed to processes powerful spiritual energies, which only adds to the mysterious illusion of the landscape. While there is not a spectacular summit or vista at the top, hikers can still find many interesting sights along the 6.1-mile path. Not to mention, the vegetation provides ample shade, which is a saving grace if you happen to be hiking in the middle of the day.
