Humphreys Peak Details

An adventure lover's dream, the hike up to Arizona's highest mountain is guaranteed to be a memorable experience. The summit stands 12,633-feet above sea level, although you will only need to trek up 3,000 of that during your journey. For that reason, this trail should be reserved only for experienced hikers. This 4.8-mile trail starts at the Arizona Snowbowl Ski Resort. The scenic route of pine forests quickly evolves into a steep, rocky trail where you will need to use your hands and legs to navigate the loose boulders and stones. From the summit, you will have views over the San Francisco Peaks and, if you're lucky views of the Grand Canyon.
