Wonder Cave Details

For over 100 years, this unique cave has been wowing tourists for its unique structure and formation. Unlike other cave systems, which are formed by erosion, this cavern was actually struck open by an earthquake. It lies directly on the Balcones Fault Line that shoots through the south-central part of Texas. Not only will you be able to see the 15 million-year-old fault from inside the cave, but you will also have a chance to explore suspended boulders, rare strata formations, and fossilized tubes carved by insects that lie 100-feet below ground.
