Fawn Pass Trail Details

Running between Mammoth and US 191/park boundary, this easily and often shortened trail follows Glen Creek before ascending to the 9,100-foot Fawn Pass. The trail begins level, skirting the base of Terrace Mountain as it cuts through sagebrush meadows and small aspen groves. Quickly climbing 500 feet to a small ridge, the trail opens up to pretty views of the Gallatin Range and Gardner River Valley before dropping into the valley and facing the towering Electric Peak as it looms in the foreground. The final ascent to Fawn Pass is a moderate climb over densely forested slopes.
